You are meant for expansion, it’s time to become.
To the woman who knows she is not her story, but her story forms the foundation for the strength she has available to her.
This work is for the woman who feels the heaviness and feels ready to explore the weight together to shift into her power force and create the life of her desires.
This is the work overlooked at the prenatal and postpartum visits, left out in the counselling degrees and tiptoed around at family events in the name of “baby blues”. This pain is so real, and I’m here to witness you exactly where you are.
Meet Zoie
I am a trained birth coach and call upon my lived experience in sessions. I work with women on how to hold both fear and trust in a way that creates expansion, rather than self-limitation. In sessions, we spell out the darkness and shadows appearing for you, because when light meets darkness, light always wins. My driving force as a mother has always been my internal light, to find the answers within. In my first pregnancy, I had an awareness to leave my medical midwife and continue my journey of pregnancy on my own. Scheduling prenatal appointments with the ocean and creeks, I found a new way to connect with my baby. I then went on to birth unassisted with just my partner by my side, we entered parenthood in our full power. My mission is for women and couples to find the birth choices that feel most aligned to them, so they, too, can feel this power and self-authority. We deserve more than the common narrative of “at least you got a healthy baby.” We need to create a healthy mamma-baby dyad to set ourselves up for motherhood, and this can only happen when we are given the space to bloom. I hold space for women to explore their own depths and ideas. This work fills my heart, and seeing the transformation and clarity women gain when given uninterrupted space is inspiring. I spend my days mothering our son, living in the Northern Rivers of Australia. We parent in alignment with the aware parenting method, based on the work of developmental psychologist Aletha Solter and practice elimination communication to support our child’s autonomy.
